Good morning everyone, we hope you’ve had a lovely weekend. It’s been fantastic seeing all of your lovely work.
This week we are going to look at Jack and The Beanstalk, it’s a wonderful story. Do you have the book? Have you read it already?
Here are a few jobs for today:
Start of the Day – Let’s watch this video to start our day. https://youtu.be/OCXrLfWH85w
Literacy – here is the story read by Mrs Lamb. Remember to sit still, listen very carefully and look at the pictures. https://youtu.be/vTcEZz1jzZg
Maths – today I’d like you to start looking at counting and trying to recognise some numbers. Can you count the dots or recognise the number and then colour in that many magic beans please.
Phonics – Here’s a listening game for you to play:
Singing – I’d like you to learn a song today. It’s called ‘I’m a little Bean song’. It goes to the tune of I’m a Little Teapot.
Pencil control – Can you please follow the dotty lines.
This week I’d like you to practise putting on and taking off your shoes. Can you also do the sticky velcro bits?
When in nursery, the children like to play with puppets. Here are some pictures of the characters in this week’s story if you’d like to cut them out. I normally stick them onto lolly sticks, but you don’t need to do that if you don’t want to.
We are going to try growing a bean later on in the week, so you might want to see if you can get one beforehand.
Stay safe and look after each other.
