Good morning boys and girls!

This week we are going to be looking at the story of the Three Little Pigs.

Let’s start our week in the usual way.

Literacy – Today we are going to listen to the story of The Three Little Pigs.  I bet you’ve heard this one before.  Do you know who the characters are?  What happened in the story?

Maths – This week we are going to look at the number 3.  Here’s a great video to watch. Make sure that you click onto the number 3 rap.  Can you find 3 lots of different things and stick them onto a sheet with the number 3.  For example you might find 3 buttons, or 3 raisins.

House Building – Today we are going to decorate the front of the little pigs houses.  So you’ll need some sticks (or maybe straws), some straw (or wool) and some brick pattern paper (or red brick shaped paper).  You’ll also need the front of 3 houses drawn on paper, scissors and glue.  I can’t wait to see your houses.

Pig Masks – You’ll need a paper plate and some red and white paint.  Today you’re going to mix the paint to make a nice pink colour and then paint the paper plate.  When it’s dry, cut out some eyes and draw on ears and a nose.

Nursery rhyme of the Day – This Little Piggy is one of our favourites.  Here is one you could look at or maybe your grown up could help you learn it.

Extra story – If you have time, why not watch this lovely story read today by Tony.

Stay safe x
