Looking after our Mental Health
This week is Children’s National Mental Health Week. We should all look make sure that we look after our mental health. If we were feeling unwell with a stomach ache we’d go to the doctor or if we had a toothache we’d go to the dentist. So if you’re feeling sad, lonely angry or anxious, it’s really important you tell someone about this too.
Take a look through this PowerPoint Presentation too with a grown up. MENTAL HEALTH PowerPoint
The theme of this year’s Mental Health Week is Express Yourself. Expressing yourself is about finding ways to share feelings, thoughts, or ideas, through creativity. It is about finding a way to show who you are and how you see the world, that can help you feel good about yourself. From this Friday there will be a section of the Focus dedicated to âExpressing Yourselfâ and if you want to, you can contribute! Teachers will be contributing too and sharing with you what we do when we’re feeling low. The link below has lots of ideas about how you can express yourself, perhaps you could find time to look through it with someone you live with?

I hope you all have a wonderful weekend. make sure you get plenty of time to relax and have fun!
