Good Morning Year 2!
It’s Thursday already – time flies when you’re having fun! 🙂
On today’s timetable we have ; Google Classroom, English, Maths, History and PE. Today I will feedback on your history work.
For our Google Classroom this morning you will need a set of digit cards 0-9. You can write the numbers onto small pieces of paper. We will be using them for a maths game.

In English today it is a comprehension activity all about Roald Dahl. Read the information page about him and then try to answer the questions.
Can you find out any other facts about Roald Dahl? He has a website all about him. Click here to access it.
Maths
Today in maths we will continue our work with 3D shapes. Today we will work on looking at the faces of 3D shapes.

History
In history today we will complete the last piece of work linked to Florence Nightingale. We all know how terrible the hospitals were for Florence when she arrived in Scutari. Tell your grown how terrible the hospitals were. If you have forgotten, click here to watch the video link once more.
Today your task will be making a list of jobs that Florence needed to do when she arrived at the hospital. Think of all the things that weren’t right, how could Florence fix them?
Work through the PowerPoint presentation for some suggestions and then write a list of jobs with a drawing to go with each one.
