Happy Friday Year 2!
We’ve made it to the weekend!
Today on our timetable we have Google Classroom, English, Maths, Computing and DT. Today I will be feeding back on your maths work.
In our Google Classroom this morning we will be listening to George’s Marvellous Medicine Chapter 3. If you are unable to attend the meeting, there is a video link below so you can listen to Chapter 3.
In English today you will be creating your own recipe of your own Marvellous Medicine. You need to imagine if you had a Grandma like George’s, what would you find around your house to pour into your marvellous mixture? Try to think of at least 10 items and try to include an expanded noun phrase to go with each item. Work through the PowerPoint presentation first to get some ideas, then write your list and then you could draw all of these items in your marvellous medicine bottle. Remember to be creative and have fun!
In maths we will continue with our 3D shape work. The focus today is counting the number of edges on 3D shapes. Watch the video below and then complete the worksheets.
Mr Patterson has set your Computing work today, Click on the document below and Mr Patterson has include some clear instructions. Please email your computing work to Mr Patterson at this email address firstname.lastname@example.org
In DT I’d like you to have a go at making your own marvellous medicine but it will include things that are safe to eat and drink. You will make your own fruit smoothie.
Follow the instructions on the PowerPoint Presentation and have a go at making your own fruit smoothie. You can take out or add any fruits that you’d like. I’d love to see some photos of you making your smoothie!
Can you write some instructions to go with your smoothie? Give it a go! (Remember your ‘you will need list’) I might try to make some of your smoothies over the weekend!
Enjoy and have lots of fun! 🙂
