Good morning Year 3 – Happy Friday!
Well done for all of your hard work this week. I am very impressed with how much effort you are all putting into your home learning. Today you will need a pencil and paper for our Google Classroom meeting.
For your tasks today I would like you to do RE, Maths and your Friday project. Today I will be feeding back on your RE.
I would like you to explore the feast days of Mary. Please read through the different feasts on the slides. I would like you to choose your four favourite feasts and write about them on the sheet. When you have finished, I would like you to draw a picture of Mary in the middle box.
Well done for your hard work on addition and subtraction over the last few weeks. Today, we will be using a variety of skills to check answers to calculations. Watch the video and complete the tasks on the worksheet when asked.
To link into the work we did last week on the Erasmus project and local landmarks, I would like you to make a 3D map showing the different landmarks within the local area. These could include Hadrians Wall, the Angel of the North, the Millenium Bridge, St James Park, the swing bridge, Greys Monument or any others you can think of. If you have clay or playdoh, you could make the landmarks with this, or you could draw, cut them out and stick them so they are standing.
I have an example below to show you.
Have a fantastic weekend. I will see you all on Monday morning on Google Classroom.
