Good morning Year 3.
Please send all work in as normal, however, moving forward, although we will look at each task, we will only be giving feedback on one piece of work each day. The feedback from today’s tasks will be linked to art.
Please send your completed French task to firstname.lastname@example.org
Well done for all of your hard work yesterday. Thank you for sending me your work, don’t forget to keep sending your completed tasks to email@example.com
Today you will carry on with your story opener. You are going to move on to the second part of the opening, where you are showing how Sophie is feeling. Make sure you keep this safe as you will be adding to it later in the week.
Today in Maths you will be using addition and subtraction to spot patterns. Watch the video first, then complete the worksheet.
Mrs Innerdale has created your French lesson. Please could you send your completed French home learning to firstname.lastname@example.org
Please click on the link below, then present to go through your French work. Make sure you click on the sound buttons in order to hear Mrs Innerdale’s instructions.
Today I would like you to investigate the artwork of Claude Monet. In order to do this, I would like you to compare two bits of his work. You are going to look at Water Lily Pond 1906 and Water Lily Pond 1907. I want you think about
- What are the paintings of?
- What colours can you see?
- How are they different?
- What art techniques has Monet used?
Please read through the slides and complete the sheet below.
When you have finished this task, I would like you to paint the colour wheel. If you have paint, this is ideal, if not then you could use pastels or pencils.
Super work Year 3. I look forward to hearing from you soon.
