Good morning Year 3 and welcome back.
I hope you all had a lovely half term break and I am very excited to see you at 9am this morning, remember to bring your jokes.
Today, you will be completing English, Math, Music and Geography. Tomorrow, during our Google Classroom meeting, I will feed back on your Math task.
We will carry on with our book Fantastic Mr Fox this week and work our way through a few more chapters. Today, we will explore Chapter 7 and begin to look at dialogue within the text. Follow the instructions in the video carefully. I have included the slides further down, this is for you to refer back to when you are writing your direct speech if you feel you need to.
This week we are going to change our math topic and focus on money.
Today I would like you to explore pounds and pence, remember there are 100 pence in £1. If you have some money at home you can use, it would be very helpful for this week. If you don’t, maybe you could make your own on paper or use some different objects from around the house to help you.
This week you are going to bring together everything you have been doing in music over the last 6 weeks, Enjoy your body percussion.
Today will be our final lesson on Flow. I would like you to complete this comprehension activity. Make sure you read the text carefully, then answer the questions all about rivers. I am sure you will know a lot of the information already.
Here are your spellings for this week, the spelling rule is a spelled as ei. We will test these on Friday during out Google Classroom meet.
Enjoy your tasks today 🙂
