Please note: There will be a Google class meet at 9am today. Hope to see you there!
Happy Friday Year 4… we’ve made it to the end of another week! Well done everyone! Thank you for sending me all of your work. I hope you have a great day doing your work, especially your projects this afternoon. Enjoy the weekend when it comes 🙂
Please send your completed work to firstname.lastname@example.org. I will be providing feedback on the character descriptions you write in English.
Today in Maths we continue our work on multiplication, this time multiplying a three digit number by a one digit number. Listen carefully, working through the sheet as you go.
Today in English we are going to look at how reading builds empathy.
Task 1: Your task after the lesson will be to write 2 paragraphs describing your favourite character from a book you have read. It could be your favourite book or the book you are reading right now! When you are finished add to it by drawing a picture of your character. I have included an example piece of writing for you to look at. It is a character description of Arrietty from the Borrowers. Read it carefully, before doing your work.
Times Tables Practise!
Last week you learnt a table off by heart! Can you still remember it? Do it again… pick a table you sometimes get wrong or mixed up and practise writing it, saying it… maybe even go on times tables rockstars and test yourself. It’s up to you. Tell me which one you chose and how you got on 🙂
Project – North East England
Well I have been flabberghasted by how wonderful your work is so far on North East England. Well done everyone! I’ve re-attached the sheet for those of you who want to read through it again for ideas. Remember, you’ll need to prepare a short powerpoint for you return to school to show everyone what you have done, so remember to take photos of your work along the way. Have fun!
See you next week everyone, stay safe 🙂
