Good morning year 6. Half way through the week already. Well done for all your efforts this week so far. Let’s keep it going until the end of the week. Today’s feedback is on RE.
Today is Holocaust memorial day
You might like to take part in the online ceremony tonight and light a candle at 8pm for all the holocaust victims.
We are continuing the work on Windrush and starting to write a diary entry. Click on the link to find out more.
Use the help sheet to support your writing.
Two step rules today . . .
Now click on the worksheets . . . .
Extension ( Optional )
Use the video to find out how to draw shapes in 1 point perspective. You can draw the shapes right to the vanishing point if you wish or follow the video. Once you have drawn the shapes, get creative with some paints, pastels or pencils. Think carefully about the intensity of the colour, with it fading towards the vanishing point and don’t forget the explosion effect at the centre !
What is the message ?
Jesus spoke with alot of stories to help people understand his message. Click on the link below and choose four of the parables. Using a bible or the internet, read each parable.
Now for each story write down the following . . .
1- What is the story about ( briefly ) ?
2- What is the key message for the story ?
E.g. – Parable of the Good Samaritan – This parable is about a man who helps an injured individual who has been ignored by others. The key message is to show care and compassion to everyone even if they are your enemies.
Logon and see how many you can get right in . . . a minute, 3 minutes, after 5 games, 10 games ? Can you improve your average time ?
Or if you have a times tables clock, you could practice that aswell.
